Our Founder’s Story

Rachel Edwards did not arrive at Applied Personality Intelligence through theory. She arrived through consequence.

After losing her mother to cancer in her teens and witnessing close family members cycle through addiction and incarceration, Rachel became deeply aware early of what happens when human behavior is misunderstood and systems fail to respond effectively. That awareness shaped a career focused on improving the systems that make high-stakes decisions about people.

Rachel brings over 15 years of applied experience in forensic behavioral analysis, behavioral health, and human performance. She holds a BA in History and a BASc in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth and an MS in Forensic Studies with a concentration in Forensic Behavioral Analysis from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Professionally, Rachel worked her way from a hands-on case manager to serving as the Program Director for the Lee County Mental Health and Veterans Courts, working at the intersection of psychology, public systems, and real-world behavioral outcomes. She also served on the Southwest Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking Task Force and the Human Trafficking Task Force for Florida’s 20th Judicial Circuit, and spent more than five years teaching at the university level.

Across these roles, one pattern became impossible to ignore. The tools used to assess personality, readiness, risk, and potential were fragmented, static, and poorly suited for real decision environments. Insight existed, but it rarely translated into clear strategy or effective action.

After relocating to Minnesota to raise her family, Rachel founded Pebblebrook Wellness, a private coaching practice for high-achieving female professionals melding mindset coaching with mindfulness. There, she began designing and piloting a new approach, one that integrated multiple personality frameworks into a single, adaptive system capable of informing real-world decisions across individuals, teams, and institutions.

That work became the foundation for the Strategic Personality Blueprint.

Today, as Founder and CEO of Insperai, Rachel leads the development of SPB as a patent-pending Applied Personality Intelligence system designed for leaders and advisors navigating growth, change, and organizational strain. SPB does not label people. It functions as an interpretation layer, revealing how traits, motivations, values, and behavioral patterns interact beneath the surface to influence performance, leadership, and collaboration.

Insperai exists because understanding people is not enough. Labels are not enough. Decisions require clarity, context, and precision. SPB was built to meet that demand.
